For the Lord sayeth that many are called, but few are chosen and at Cheltenham, the meek and those rated 112 or below will not inherit the earth.

FACT: Since 2003, there have been a total of 438 races. In that time 59 races have had 139 runners in them, rated 112 or less. None of them won and only five were placed. The A/E was an astonishing 0. CrikeyKneesup, I hear you say, you’ve set the bar a bit low there. Well yes – but that’s just the fact of the matter. Interestingly, if we run the Wutan Geothermal Acoustic Modulator up to full power and ask it to tell us how the figures for horses rated 122 or below we get the following. There have been 567 horses rated 122, contesting 121 races with 10W/38p for a Win % of 1.76%. The A/E was 0.58, the ROI was -60.49% and, had you laid them all, you would have won £193. However, you would have lost £58.51 on laying the place money.

RULE: Eliminate any horse rated 112 from a racecard and consider eliminating those rated 122 or below.

HELP KEEP THE RACEWEB VOICE ALIVE

Annual domain registrations, site hosting, software licences, form guides, research costs and a host of other minor and but not inconsequential outgoings are the burden for all website owners.

Even the smallest donation can make the difference between the Off and On switch.

It’s not just that once in a while we actually prove accurate, and you possibly make a bit of pocket money, but occasionally, we might perhaps suggest a view that could possibly change someone’s mind. For the better.

That’s a lot of Maybes and Possiblies, but sometimes we have to try and change a plan or encourage them to move a mountain, and if that means we make you smile, or shout with anger, or shake with laughter, then Huzzah!

That’s your donation that did that. Thank You.
