Some very moderate racing in the UK today but I have three fancies for Hamilton.

HAMILTON 14:00
TWENTYSIXTHSTREET 1pt e/w
I have backed this longshot at 25/1 this morning and I think anything better than 10-1 is a decent each-way bet.
Andrew Hughes has had a lot of success schlepping all the way from Kells in County Kilkenny to run
his horses at Hamilton this year. Indeed his last eleven runners have produced two wins, four seconds, a third and a fourth. One of those winners was this Zoffany colt over C&D in July.
Behind him that day was today’s forecast favourite, Autumn Flight, who only has a 3lb pull for six and a half lengths.
I recognise that Tim Easterby is on fire this month but, at these odds, the value is with the Irish raider.

HAMILTON 14:30
GUARDIA SVIZZERA 2pts win
Twice a C&D winner on this going and the Fell/Curtis combo have a 23%+ strike rate at Hamilton.

HAMILTON 15:30
SET IN STONE 1pt e/w
I am pretty sure that Andrew Hughes hasn’t travelled 322 miles over land and sea just for fun. So even if Twentysixthstreet is beaten in the first I will have bet on this three time course winner who has won on the soft previously.
Fellow Irish raider THE LAST EMPEROR is the danger along with Richard Fahey’s INDOMENEO.

HELP KEEP THE RACEWEB VOICE ALIVE

Annual domain registrations, site hosting, software licences, form guides, research costs and a host of other minor and but not inconsequential outgoings are the burden for all website owners.

Even the smallest donation can make the difference between the Off and On switch.

It’s not just that once in a while we actually prove accurate, and you possibly make a bit of pocket money, but occasionally, we might perhaps suggest a view that could possibly change someone’s mind. For the better.

That’s a lot of Maybes and Possiblies, but sometimes we have to try and change a plan or encourage them to move a mountain, and if that means we make you smile, or shout with anger, or shake with laughter, then Huzzah!

That’s your donation that did that. Thank You.
