I will leave The Tissue to provide some guidance at Doncaster and focus on some very exciting looking races over at LEOPARDSTOWN.

13:55 RAVEN’S CRY 2pts win

Paddy Twomey’s tiny yard has the impressive strike rate of 28 wins from 102 runners since he began training. There are some big stables with very well-bred unexposed fillies entered in this race. But Raven’s Cry looks to be a very promising filly and I think she has every chance.

14:30 EFFERNOCK FIZZ 1pt e/w

If this filly was trained by A P or any of the other big names she would be about 8/1 for this. She was 25/1 this morning and that represents excellent value. Effernock Fizz is 5lbs out of the handicap and this is a very competitive 18 runner race, however, I think she is good value and worth a small e/w interest.

16:15 ELARQAM 2pts win

Anthony Van Dyck has won the Derby, Magical has only been beaten by Crystal Ocean and Enable this season, Headman has won two Group 2s and Madhmoon has been consistently excellent. It is also emotionally hard for me to not bet on Deidre who landed a 25-1 punt at Goodwood. However, I thought Elarqam was unlucky behind Japan and Crystal Ocean in the Juddmonte and this might be the race when he proves to be the kind of horse his breeding suggests he should be.

16:50 SUEDOIS 1pt e/w

David O’Meara’s tough and consistent gelding won this two years ago and has a solid each way chance this year.

17:25 LAURENS 2pts win

Who doesn’t love Karl Burke’s superstar filly. All the clear form lines say that she will win this.

Back in Blighty there are a few interesting runners that I am attracted to:

Chelmsford 14:15 Intuitive

Bath 16:20 Hold Still

Lingfield 14:50 Kashmirella

I think they might make a decent e/w patent.

Good luck to all.

HELP KEEP THE RACEWEB VOICE ALIVE

Annual domain registrations, site hosting, software licences, form guides, research costs and a host of other minor and but not inconsequential outgoings are the burden for all website owners.

Even the smallest donation can make the difference between the Off and On switch.

It’s not just that once in a while we actually prove accurate, and you possibly make a bit of pocket money, but occasionally, we might perhaps suggest a view that could possibly change someone’s mind. For the better.

That’s a lot of Maybes and Possiblies, but sometimes we have to try and change a plan or encourage them to move a mountain, and if that means we make you smile, or shout with anger, or shake with laughter, then Huzzah!

That’s your donation that did that. Thank You.
