As brief as I can be:

1:00 LONGCHAMP Qatar Prix du Petit Couvert ( G3) (3yo+) (Sprint Course) (3yo+) 5f SKY 8 run

TOUR TO PARIS is decent winning the Prix du Gros-Chene at Deauville in good style. COEUR DE PIERRE is of interest and Karl Burke sends LADY IN FRANCE who picks up a very decent weight allowance.

TOUR TO PARIS wins – LADY IN FRANCE e/w

2:35 CURRAGH Moyglare ”Jewels” Blandford Stakes ( G2) (Fillies & Mares) (3yo+) 1m2f ITV3 11 run

ONE VOICE wins

2:55 LONGCHAMP Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris ( G1) (3yo Colts & Fillies) (Grande Course) (3yo) 1m4f SKY 10 run

After his 5th in Prix du Jockey Club, PORT GUILLAUME went on to win Deauville’s Prix Harcourt de Longines in decent fashion. Stiff competition from IN SWOOP who won the German Derby and SERPENTINE who was impressive in the English Derby will make his task tricky. ENGLISH KING was sent here rather than the St Leger and as I am a fan I shall select him e/w

ENGLISH KING e/w – SERPENTINE win – IN SWOOP exotics.

3:10 CURRAGH Derrinstown Stud Flying Five Stakes ( G1) (Breeders’ Cup Challenge Race) (3yo+) 5f ITV3 15 run

GLASS SLIPPERS wins – BUBBLES ON ICE e/w

3:17 BADEN-BADEN 148th Longines Grosser Preis von Baden ( G1) (3yo+) (3yo+) 1m4f 8 run

TORQUATOR TASSO was 2nd in the German Derby to IN SWOOP (see 14:55 Longchamp) is still thought to retain some progress. He receives a WFA allowance and seems capable of taking his first G1 victory.

TORQUATOR TASSO wins

3:35 LONGCHAMP Qatar Prix Vermeille ( G1) (3yo+ Fillies & Mares) (Grande Course) (3yo+) 1m4f SKY 10 run

HELP KEEP THE RACEWEB VOICE ALIVE

Annual domain registrations, site hosting, software licences, form guides, research costs and a host of other minor and but not inconsequential outgoings are the burden for all website owners.

Even the smallest donation can make the difference between the Off and On switch.

It’s not just that once in a while we actually prove accurate, and you possibly make a bit of pocket money, but occasionally, we might perhaps suggest a view that could possibly change someone’s mind. For the better.

That’s a lot of Maybes and Possiblies, but sometimes we have to try and change a plan or encourage them to move a mountain, and if that means we make you smile, or shout with anger, or shake with laughter, then Huzzah!

That’s your donation that did that. Thank You.
